Nelson J. Michaud, Jr.

   Nelson J. Michaud, Jr., 61, of Franklin, died at his home unexpectedly on April 13, 2022. 

   He was born in Portland, ME on July 11, 1960 the son of Nelson J. Michaud, Sr. and Frances (Basco) Michaud. 

   Nelson enjoyed antiquing, restoring antique and muscle cars with his son, motorcycle rides to the lake.  He was also fond of his faith and church TV.  He was self-employed for several years as Michaud and Son Hardwood Floors. 

   Family members include his wife, Lorrie (Miner) Michaud, 2 sons, Nelson “JoeJoe” Michaud of Rochester and his wife Casey, Joshua Michaud of Loudon, granddaughters Emily Michaud of Canterbury, and Abigail Haynes, stepdaughter, April Christensen of Florida and her family, stepdaughter Amanda Davis of Gilmanton, her husband Richard and their family, and many friends and family.

   He was predeceased by his parents and a daughter, Christina Michaud who died in 2017. 

   Visiting hours will be held at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm with a service at 1:00 pm.  Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Penacook.

   Donations in memory of Nelson may be made to the SPCA, 94 Silk Farm Rd., Concord, NH 03301, in lieu of flowers.
