Obituary

    Mary Louise Hurd (58) passed away surrounded by loving family on July 6,2022 at Laconia Hospital.  

    Mary was born on July 31 1963 in Middleboro, Massachusetts to the late Barbra Peirce and Kenneth Cook.

   She did most of her schooling in Massachusetts. She moved to New Hampshire when she was about 12 years old and finished school here. She has resided in New Hampshire since.

    Mary was not able to work a lot due to ongoing health issues.

    Mary had many interests. Her most favorite was cooking! She would cook something new almost every night if she could. She had a love for scratch ticket, she would get them whenever she could. Mary was very proud of her vegetable garden she had going. (Which is still blooming great)

    She also had a very big love for cats, she loved and treated the two she had like her own children.

   Mary was amazing and a loving nana to her two grandsons Damian and Jaxon. They were here pride and joy, she loved them so much. She would do anything for them. (Spoiled!)

   Mary is predeceased by her mother Barbra Peirce and her father Kenneth Cook.

   She leaves behind her husband and life partner Keith W. Hurd of Franklin, New Hampshire; Her two daughters Megan Bassett and son in law Cori Bassett of Franklin, New Hampshire; Rebeka Carmichael of Wilmot, New Hampshire; Grandsons Damian Bassett and Jaxon Bassett of Franklin, New Hampshire; Siter Terri Avilla and husband Gus Avilla of Middleboro, Massachusetts; Brother Mark Cook of Lakeville, Massachusetts; Nephews Shane Avilla, Timmy Avilla and, Devon Avilla of Middleboro, Massachusetts.

   Mary will be missed by so many and never forgotten.
