Joyce Elaine Casey, 78, formerly of Salisbury, died at her home in Callaway, FL on June 16, 2020. She was born in Haverhill, MA on February 1942 the daughter of Ernest and Betty Lou (Greenway) Melvin.
She grew up in Topsfield, Mass where she lived with an aunt and uncle. She married her first husband of 13 years Raymond Bilodeau, Jr. and they lived in Newton, NH. They had 6 children and raised her Youngest brother Richard.
She married James Casey Sr, and had 3 more children. Jim passed away in 1991 they lived together first in Deering, NH and Salisbury, NH.
She was primarily a home maker but had other jobs such as working in a nursing home, a housekeeper, Webster Valve, Poly Clad Laminates, and Walmart, in Panama City.
She sang in the church Choir and she had the voice of an angel, she loved to sing from opera to country.
Her hobbies were knitting, crocheting, gardening, in younger years horseback riding and later motorcycle rides.
She lived in Connecticut for a few years and then moved to Panama City, Florida in 1997 where she lived from then on.
Her children are: Raymond Bilodeau, Jr. (deceased), Patti Lemire, Concord, NH and companion Dave, Pierrette Bilodeau of Francestown, NH, Renee Mueller, Lebanon, Maine and husband Bill,
Arthur Bilodeau, New Haven, CT and companion Ramona, Yvette Nicol, Newton, NH and husband Peter, James Casey, Massachusetts and companion Aggy, Patrick Casey, Panama City, FL and companion Juliet, Rosemarie Casey, Panama City, FL and husband Jimmy,
16 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter.
She was predeceased by a brother, George Melvin and is survived by sisters Sandra Sarbanis & Jane Leslie and brothers Charles Melvin Sr, David Melvin, and Richard Melvin, and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home,
143 Franklin St., Franklin. A visiting hour will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 pm.
Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Salisbury.
