Gloria A. (Menard) Davis

   Gloria A. Davis, 78, of Franklin, died unexpectedly at Concord Hospital on May 3, 2023.

   She was born in Laconia on April 14, 1945 the daughter of Armand and Rita (Garneau) Menard.  Gloria was a lifelong resident of Franklin and graduated from Franklin High School in 1963.

  Gloria was formerly employed at the Sears store in Franklin and later worked at Merrimack County Nursing Home prior to retirement.

   Gloria loved to travel, especially cruises and vacationing in York, ME.  Recently she summered at Newfound Lake. She loved her family and friends and spending time with them and having a good time.

  Her husband, Sam Davis, died in 2020.  She is survived by her children, Tammy Dow and husband Brian Dow of Concord, and Steve Davis of Franklin, 2 grandchildren, Tyler Dow of Concord and MacKenzie Davis and companion Shawn Vaccaro of Franklin, her brother, Gene Menard of Concord, a sister, Marie Straw of Lochmere, sister-in-law Wanda Redfield of Franklin, and many nieces and nephews.

   She was predeceased by her parents, 2 brothers: David Menard and Lawrence Menard and his wife Eloise Menard.

  Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, May 7th from 2:00 -5:00 pm at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 8th at Christ the King Church, 72 South Main St., Concord at 10:00 am.  Burial will follow at Franklin Cemetery.
