He began his hard-working career at A&A Industrial Floor Service, where he worked for over two decades. He was currently the manager of Once and Again Antiques, and Franklin Pet Store. He had an enormous respect for the Veterans of our Country and volunteered with the HomeTown Heroes Banner organization. Carey had a charismatic personality and was the life of the party. He was a fantastic conversationalist, and had a wicked sense of humor. Carey was an amazing chef and loved to entertain. He was always in this kitchen for family gatherings, and often brought meals to those who needed them. Carey had a large circle of friends and he would do anything to help them. He was an avid sports fan, fisherman, and loved NASCAR. His favorite spot in the world was York Beach, ME, and the cottage on the Nubble that his family vacationed at for over 40 years. Carey is dearly missed by many including his son, that he was so proud of, Jordan A. Spear of Sunapee. His devoted partner, Jessica Lucier Wilson of Tilton. His sister Kimberly Whelan and her husband David, along with his niece and nephew, who he adored, Lillian and Tucker Whelan of South Berwick Me. His Step-brother, who he loved to cheer for in his body building competitions, Nate Spear of Manchester, NH. He had a special relationship with his aunt, Robyn White along with her husband Larry and their children, Joe, Megan, and Tristan of Silver Bay, NY.
