Bruce E. Taylor, 77, died at his home on Dec. 14, 2021.
Bruce was born in Franklin on April 3, 1944 the son of William L. Taylor, Jr. and Ann (Vera) Taylor. He resided in Franklin most of his life and attended local schools graduating from Franklin High School.
Bruce made his living by logging in the forest with everything from teams of horses to modern skid steers. He spent the latter half of his career as a long-haul trucker traversing all of the lower 48 states, Mexico, and, Canada making lifelong friends along the way.
Bruce was also an avid horseman, buying, breaking, and riding all over the country. It's believed by many that Danny his stud of nearly 3 decades was one of his best friends out of them all. His love of the open road and riding Harleys was not just a part of his life for him, it was what life was meant to be. There’s no one like Bruce, he was a character all his own that no words could describe.
Bruce lived and he loved with no restraint. He loved all of his many friends like they were family. May you Bruce Rest In Peace always and forever, for you will never be forgotten.
Family members include his son, Jesse L. Taylor and his wife Julie Anne Taylor of Franklin,
a grandchild, Oliva Ann Taylor, and many friends.
A celebration of Bruce’s life will be announced at a later date.
