William Porter

Biography Mr. William W. Porter, 74, of Franklin, died at Hospice House in Concord on Sept. 15, 2016. He was born in Peabody, MA on Sept. 13, 1942 the son of William and Ruth (Hines) Porter. Bill was raised in Saugus and resided in Middleton, MA for 35 years before moving to Franklin 10 years ago. He was a US Navy veteran. Mr. Porter worked as a machinist for General Electric in Lynn and Everett, MA prior to retirement. Family members include his wife of 51 years, Lois (Chapruet) Porter of Franklin, 2 daughters: Debra O'Donnell and her husband Yancy of Franklin, and Sheryl Porter of SC, a grandson, Brendan O'Donnell, and 4 siblings: Robert Porter of Weymouth, MA, Carolyn Livesey of MI, Jessica Clarke of Lynn, and Edward Porter of MD, and nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2016 at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin, NH from 10-11 am followed by a funeral service at 11:00. Burial will follow in Franklin Cemetery.
