Northfield, NH... William John Baldwin, 68, died unexpectedly at his home on New Year's Day 2021.
He was born on Aug. 9, 1952 in Ft. Worth, TX the son of George & Eleanor (Menges) Baldwin. William was a 1971 graduate of Everett (MA) High School.
Family members include his wife of 35 years, Paula (Boyd) Baldwin of Northfield, his son, Patrick Baldwin and his wife Kristina of Florence, MA, his sister, Robin Sablock and her husband John of Stoneham, MA, a granddaughter Tara and several nieces and nephews.
William worked for many years in manufacturing, first as a mechanic and then supervisor at SPIR-IT Inc. in Wakefield, MA, an injection molding plant.
Later he worked at Home Depot in Somerville, MA until moving to Northfield in 2003 and transferred to the Tilton store.
William had a few simple needs in life that brought him happiness. He loved his family and was an avid outdoors person loving all nature. He loved hunting, fishing, and hiking. He was also passionate about food and cooking, always having family over for a feast.
He loved the cats he raised over the years with his wife: Fleetwood, Bailey, Princess, and Clayton. He was a good "cat Dad."
There are no services planned at this time but burial will be in the spring.
