OBITUARY Northfield Wanita A. Judkins, 75, of Northfield, passed quietly in her home with her loving family with her on March 28, 2013. She was born in Starksboro, VT on June 18, 1937 the daughter of Everette Smith and Ruby (Smith) Perkins. Wanita's interests were the Native American Culture, reading, horses, romance novels, crocheting, dancing, thrift stores, and yard sales. Most of all she loved her family and her canine companion. She was the loving mother of 3 daughters, Julie Parenteau and her companion Chip Keith of Northfield, Cindy Judkins of Bastrop, TX, Lisa Judkins of Rocky Mount, NC, and a son, Dale Judkins of Bastrop, TX. She is the sister of Beverly Worden of Hill, Madeline LaChance of New Egypt, NJ, Caroline Bartz of Franklin, Everette Smith of SC, and Joanne Morrill of Bridgewater. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She also leaves behind her precious canine companion, Angel. Wanita had many friends she cared for in her life. She had many children and adults that were lovingly welcomed into her home throughout the years, who all loved her. Her family would like to thank the Franklin VNA and Hospice for their unwavering compassionate support during this difficult time. Private burial will be in Franklin Cemetery.
