Franklin, NH Walter E. Paquette, 72, of Franklin, died at Franklin Regional Hospital on Feb. 21, 2012. He was born in Franklin on Jan. 3, 194o the son of Thomas and Bertha (Sylvester) Paquette. Walt was raised in Franklin and attended Franklin High School. He formerly served in the NH National Guard. He was a tool and die maker at Arwoods in Northfield for 25 years before retiring in 2000. He was a communicant of St. Paul Church. Walt enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and his computer, especially restoring old photographs. He also played the guitar and piano often for his family during Holiday gatherings. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. Family members include his wife of 34 years, Louise (Reynolds) Paquette of Franklin, 3 daughters, Kathy Read, Linda Read Hastings, and Lisa Nelson, all of Franklin, 2 stepchildren: Bill Clogston of Weymouth, MA and Rev. Steve Murray of Plaistow, 5 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 2 sisters: Janet Jurta and Doris Rayno, both of Franklin, an Uncle, Roger Paquette of Laconia, and cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Deborah Lyn Paquette who died in 1984 and his brother, Thomas L. Paquette. Visiting hours will be held Friday (2/24/12) from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday (2/25/12) at 10 am in St. Paul Church. Spring burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
