Virginia Mae (Rezza) Staples, 74, of Beverly, Massachusetts, passed away after a short illness. A graduate of Beverly High School (class of 1966), she was employed 45 years in the accounting field. Upon retirement, she became a very familiar face as the day time hostess at Sam and Joe's Restaurant in Danvers for many years until 2020.
After moving to New Hampshire in 2021, she proudly enjoyed the last few years being with her family and watching her granddaughter grow into a teenager. An avid singer since childhood in her father’s church ministry, and through her 50s in various karaoke circuits and supporting local music groups, and loved playing Bingo.
Gina is survived by her son, Alan Albiero and his wife Tracy, a granddaughter, Isabella M. Albiero, a sister, Sue Pellegrini and her husband John, numerous, cousins, nephews, and nieces, friends and a grand puppy, Pippin Grace, and was predeceased by her sister, Judith Richardson.
A celebration of Gina's life will be on Saturday, September 30th, starting at 11:30AM at Cape Ann Bible Church, 8 Thompson Street, Gloucester MA, 01930. A reception to follow immediately downstairs in Fellowship Hall.
