Virginia Jean Murphy passed away peacefully on 12/30/20 at the Merrimack County Nursing Home. She was born on April 1, 1943 to Rachel (May) Adolph and Charles Adolph Jr, in Sharon, Vermont. Virginia, affectionately known as Ginny, or Jean, was a long-time employee at Beede Electric, and spent most of her life in Franklin, NH. She was predeceased by her husbands: Howell Longley, Philip Fuller, and Henry Murphy. Virginia was known for being kind, her love of cats, love of birds, and her sense of humor. She enjoyed telling stories about being a Vermonter. She also enjoyed gardening, boating, and spending time at the ocean along the coast of Maine, seeing the lighthouses.
She leaves behind her children Melinda Boyd (estranged) and her husband Sam, Stephen Longley and his wife Carolee, Louise Dube and her husband Steven, Robin Angel Lanzoni and her husband Tim, Philena Guyotte (estranged) and her husband Rob. Virginia's grandchildren meant the world to her, she adored them dearly: Mandy Dube, DJ Dube, Cheyenne (Longley) Gajnos, Alexis Guyotte, Emma Guyotte, Robbie LeDuc Jr, and her great grandson Colson Gajnos.
The family wants to give their sincerest thanks to the staff at the Merrimack County Nursing Home, especially to the staff on the SCU for taking such good care of her. The family is requesting that memorial donations be made in her honor to the Alzheimer's Association at
