Toni Emerson

Franklin, NH Toni R. Emerson, 48, of Franklin, died at Concord Hospital on March 28, 2012 following a sudden illness. Toni was born in Boston on Sept. 23, 1963 the daughter of Maurice Grover Gerow I and Edwina (Sweeney) Gerow. She lived in Concord and a child moving to Franklin several years ago. Toni graduated from Franklin High School in 1981. She formerly worked at Headstart and later with special needs children at Franklin Middle School. She also worked at The Peabody Home for seven years and was currently employed at Merrimack County Home where she worked for the last 3 years. Toni was active with the Franklin Pop Warner cheerleaders and was coach for several years. Toni had a big heart and was always willing to help others. She especially loved her family, and greatly enjoyed her children and grandchildren. Family members include her husband of 26 years, Bruce P. Emerson of Franklin, 2 daughters, Tracy Bueno and her husband Eric of Thomaston, ME, and Terri Emerson and AJ Gendron of Franklin , her mother, Edwina Hunnings of Franklin, her father, Maurice Grover Gerow I of MO, 4 foster children: Cortney McMurray of Rochester, Robert McMurray and Kenneth McMurray, both of Cherryvale, KS, and Rachel McMurray of Franklin, 8 grandchildren: Tiana, Dominic, Tatyana, Zoie, Damian, Donavan, Peyton, and Briley; a brother, Maurice G. Gerow II of Deerfield, 3 sisters: Debbie Tatro of Daytona Beach, FL, Marice Gerow of Franklin, Lucinda Rideout of MS, and nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held Monday, April 2nd from 4-7:00 pm at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin, NH. A celebration of Toni's life will be held later in the spring.
