Timothy W. Burke, 55, of Alexandria died on April 1, 2018 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Laconia on June 16, 1962, the son of Charles and Roberta (Price) Burke. Tim was raised in Franklin and attended local schools.
He was employed for 27 years as an electrician with Florence Electric in Canton, MA. He loved the challenge of industrial work as well as working with his hands in the construction field. He was a smart, highly respected employee and a quiet leader.
Tim loved the outdoors and caring for his acreage in Alexandria. He enjoyed spending time with his dogs, and feeding and keeping track of the birds who visited his feeders. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle with friends, and snowmobiling in the winter months.
Loved ones and family members include his girlfriend, Darlene Roy of Alexandria; his mother, Roberta Burke of Franklin; two sisters and their spouses, Olette Trouve and Miin Hwang of Cambridge, MA., and Kelley and John Lockridge of Nashua; two nieces, Celia and Kate; and aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Arrangements will be determined at a later date, and interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Franklin.
