Austin, Texas- Thomas Charles Lemire, "Tom", 60, a long time resident of Austin Texas died of a sudden illness on Sat. March 3, 2012 in Beeville Texas while participating in a Boy Scout event. Tom was born in Franklin NH on May 15, 1951, son of the late Benoit J. Lemire and Beatrice L. (Beaulieu) Lemire. Tom was a graduate of Franklin High School, Class of 1969 and UNH with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Tom was previously employed by Dell Computer Corporation as a Quality Engineer. In the past decade he pursued a new career as a licensed massage therapist, owned Healing Touch Therapies and most recently, TC Massage. Massage Envy in Austin also employed him. Tom was a life long Boy Scout, earning the rank of Eagle at the age of 13. He was active in scouting in Texas, earning many adult awards and most recently founded BSA Troop 877 in Austin, where he served as Scoutmaster. All who knew him will miss Tom's beautiful smile, infectious laugh and caring manner Tom was predeceased by his father, Ben, daughter Sarah Rachel (2008) and nephew, Jason Thomas Elliott (1987). He is survived by Stacey Lemire of Austin and his son, Joshua Lemire, his mother, Beatrice Lemire of Franklin, sisters Judy Elliott and husband Gary of Salisbury, Nancy Guimond and husband Ray of Franklin, Janet Lemire of Pembroke; brothers, David Lemire of Franklin and John and his wife Terri of Franklin; nephews, Derek Lemire and Peter Elliott; niece Tiffany Lemire, an uncle and numerous aunts and cousins. A memorial service was held on March 9, 2012 in Austin at the Unity Church of the Hills.
