Thelma F. Moses

Thelma gained her angel wings on October 17, 2023, at the age of 97.
She was born February 10, 1926, on Flaghole Road in Andover, NH to Nellie Lockwood and Harold Tilton Sr. She was the youngest of 12 children.
Thelma married Glenn Moses on March 27, 1949 and they spent many happy years together in Sanbornton, NH. They raised four daughters, Thelma (Brophy) Nichols, Bonnie Beadle, Charlotte Tibbetts, and Beverly Snyder. The family spent many years working their dairy farm and taking family vacations.
Thelma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, GG (great-grandmother), and aunt. She enjoyed visiting and watching her 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She had many nieces and nephews.
Thelma led an active life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sanbornton where she served on the Sunshine Committee and always worked on the church suppers and was well known for her coleslaw and her homemade donuts. She enjoyed crafting, knitting and especially playing the Phase 10 card game. Thelma was a stay at home mom and was the neighborhood babysitter, worked in the cafeteria at Sanbornton Central School, worked in local factories and then retired in 1999 as housekeeper at Franklin Hospital.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Glenn Moses, her grandson John Nichols, and several sisters and brothers.

Calling hours are Friday, October 20, 2023 from 5-7 pm and services will be at 1:00 pm Sunday, October 22, 2023 at Paquette-Neun Funeral Home, 104 Park Street in Northfield. Burial will be private at Park Cemetery in Tilton, NH.
