She was born on June 20, 1941 and was raised by George and Myrtle Guerin (deceased). She was an "illustrious" graduate from New Bedford High School in June 1960. She was married to Walter E. Kowalczyk, Jr. (former spouse) on June 20, 1960 and had two sons, Walter E. Kowalczyk, III (deceased) and Kenneth J. Kowalczyk, Sr. of Tilton, NH. She was employed in various jobs and excelled as a Tax Consultant for H&R Block.
She is survived by family members including granddaughters: Stacey Cooney, Anne Bettencourt, Jackie Albert, Amy Kowalczyk, Savannah Barrows, Liona Day, Keira Carmichael; grandsons: Kenneth Kowalczyk II, Christopher Kowalczyk, Jason and Brandon McIlvene, Matthew Barrows, great grandchildren: Hayley and Jazmyn McIlvene, Owen Palmer, Kyle and Danny Albert, Amelia, Bradley and Liam Cooney, and Juliana; as well as her brothers-in-law Richard S. Kowalczyk and Stanley Kowalczyk.
