Shirley Helmholtz

Mrs. Shirley R. Helmholtz, 62, of Hill, died at Concord Hospital on April 23, 2016. She was born in Newport, VT on March 14, 1954 the daughter of Effie Mae Hall. Shirley resided in Concord and Franklin before moving to Hill twelve years ago. Shirley was formerly employed by Meals on Wheels in Franklin, Family Dollar, and was last employed at NH Veterans Home. Shirley loved playing bingo and also enjoyed playing cards and darts. Family members include her husband, Richard A. Helmholtz of Hill, her children: Shannon Corbeil of Gilford, Richard T. Corbeil, Jr. of Troy, NY, Karen Corbeil of Franklin, and James Hersey of Franklin, her mother, Effie Brown of Franklin, 4 grandchildren, 5 siblings: Linda Trefethen of Loudon, Wayne H. Brown of Penacook, Barbara Murphy of Penacook, Cathy Currier of Franklin, and Dale Brown of Franklin, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a stepson, John Hersey who died in 1999. A graveside service will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hill on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 12 noon.
