Shiela Ann Roy 81 Passed away peacefully and went home to be with the Lord on January 23, 2026, surrounded by the love of friends and family.

Born on November 7, 1944, in Smithfield Maine, Shiela was one of 10 siblings after graduating high school in Fairfield Maine she moved to Massachusetts where she married the love of her life, Ernie Roy. Committed to each other they built a life rooted in love, family and hard work.

Together, they raised their two sons, Ernie and Alan creating a home filled with warmth, laughter and care. She was predeceased by her devoted husband and the love of her life, Ernie Roy, who unexpectedly passed in 1995. Shiela was a woman of seemingly endless energy and a generous spirit who never liked to sit still. She spent much of her life caring for others, working as a caregiver for many different families. She proudly served as a leader of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary and found great joy in tending her gardens and cooking meals for anyone that happened to stop by. Her door and heart were always open. Later in life Shiela moved to New Hampshire to be closer to her sons, Ernie and Alan and her beloved grandson Alden Roy. She cherished her family, grand puppies, house/pet sitting caring for all the animals and visiting with loved ones while continuing her passions for cooking and gardening. As dementia progressed Shiela went to reside at Peabody Home in Franklin New Hampshire surrounded by compassion, comfort and dignity.

Shiela is lovingly remembered by her sons Ernie and Alan, her grandson Alden and her siblings, Nancy, Margie, Danny, Lynne, Wynne, Lori, and Randy. The family extends heartfelt gratitude and thank you to family friend and caregiver Denise Doucette and all the dedicated staff at the Peabody Home that made her stay and our visits their so special.

There will be a celebration of life at noon and service following at 1:30 kindly provided and led by Pastor and family friend Jeff Smith from Liberty Bible Baptist Church on February 6th, 12pm-2pm at Paquette -Neun Funeral Home 104 Park Street, Northfield New Hampshire.
