Biography Sharon "Shari" Dion Murphy, 62, of Reed, KY passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Evansville, KY. She was born Oct. 30, 1951, in Long Beach, California, to Martha Cruz Dion and the late George Ernest Dion. She was retired from Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed crafts and did good for all that she came in contact with and was loved by all. She was preceded in death by her son, Peter LaBranche. She is survived by her husband and lover of 24 years, Christopher Scott Murphy; one son, Ronald L. LaBranche of Northfield, New Hampshire; two grandchildren, Ronald LaBranche Jr. and Cierra LaBranche of Bristol, New Hampshire; five siblings, Carol Dion of Northfield, Bunny (George) Rogers of Tilton, New Hampshire, Mary Jo (Steve) Robichaud of Tilton, NH, Jeannie Heminger of Round Rock, Texas, and Phillip Bryson of Concord, New Hampshire; her mother, Martha Bryson of Tilton, New Hampshire; and numerous nieces and nephews.
