Ruth Paquette

Tilton NH Mrs. Ruth E. Paquette, 83, of Tilton, formerly of Franklin, died at Lakes Region General Hospital in Laconia on April 21, 2015. She was born in Washington, NH on March 7, 1932 the daughter of Augustus and Bertha (Blanchard) Day. Mrs. Paquette was raised in Washington, NH and attended schools in Bradford and Hillsboro. She moved to Franklin in 1949 moving to Tilton eight years ago. She was formerly employed at the Franklin Hosiery Mill, Freudenberg NOK in Bristol, and at Wyman-Gordon in Northfield retiring in 2007. Mrs. Paquette was known for her kind and generous ways, always happy to help those in need. She had a deep fondness for animals and their well being. She enjoyed growing and tending to her flower gardens and spending time with her family. Her husband, Ernest J. Paquette died in 1995. She was predeceased by a daughter, Joanne Paquette who died in 2001. Family members include her children: Cindy Vachon of Hill, Candy Gottschalk of Laconia, John Paquette of Tilton and Phillip Paquette of Lewiston, Maine, 7 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in Franklin on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 1:00 pm.
