Ruth Gyure

Mrs. Ruth E. Gyure, 81, of Franklin, died at Merrimack County Nursing Home on Feb. 1, 2016. She was born in Franklin on Oct. 30, 1934 the daughter of Robert and Ruth (Stafford) Kelley. Ruth resided in Franklin all of her life and was a 1952 graduate of Franklin High School. Several years ago, she was employed by the former George Leach Insurance Agency and the Trachy Insurance Agency. Prior to retiring, Ruth worked at the George Cotsibas Agency. Ruth enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and holing and braiding rugs. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was a great cook. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and was a former member of the Easter Star. Ruth belonged to the Insurance Women of American and was a communicant of St. Paul Church of St. Gabriel Parish. Family members include her husband of 59 years, Ernest Gyure of Franklin, 2 daughters: Elizabeth Ruth Gyure of Concord and Katherine Ann Kramer and her husband Scott of Centerville, OH, a grandson, Steven Kramer, step grandson, John Kramer, 2 brothers: Daniel Kelley of East Andover and Robert Kelley of Franklin, and nieces and nephews. There are no public visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Feb. 5, 2016 at 10 am in St. Paul Church, School St., Franklin.
