Rudolph Condylis

February 8, 1931 — November 20, 2014

Sanbornton.... Rudolph A. Condylis of Sanbornton, NH, died Thursday, Nov 20 at Hospice House in Concord, NH of complications from multiple myeloma. Rudy was born February 8, 1931 in Portland ME to Alexander and Diana [Cyr] Condylis. He was raised in Manchester, NH, graduating from Manchester Central. He was a Korean War veteran, a 50 year 32nd degree Mason of Washington Lodge # 61, and a past member of Odd Fellows. Rudy was a consummate gentleman who shared his wisdom tacitly. He was an avid hiker and outdoorsman who had climbed all the 4000 footers except one-because he wanted one more challenge available. He loved being on the ocean and Great Bay spending many hours exploring these areas from Portland, Maine to Cape Cod in small boats with his wife Wendy and their dogs. His favorite spot was their camp in Success on the clay bank where he spent many holidays and weekends. At the end of his life he was grateful for the little things - like a hot cup of tea or a bowl of granola. He began his life's work in his fathers business, New England Labs in Manchester, continuing as owner until it's sale in his retirement. He leaves his wife Wendelyn and is survived by son Mitchell Condylis and wife Karen, grandchildren Cameron and Lily of Bedford, NH; daughter June Cormier and husband Michael of Candia; son Daniel and his wife Laura and grandson Alexander of Oakland, CA. He also leaves his sister Irene Karem of Manchester and his sister-in-law Jacalyn Chapley of Franklin. He will be missed by Maggie their black lab. Committal services will be held December 3, at 2 PM at the Veterans Cemetery Chapel in Boscawen. Thibault-Neun Funeral Home in Franklin ( www.neunfuneralhomes.com ) is assisting with arrangements.
