Northfield, NH Ronald R. Simpson, 61, of Northfield, died at his home on Jan. 24, 2011. He was born in Tilton on May 10, 1949 the son of the late Roy and Jacqueline (LaBelle) Simpson. Ron was a resident of Northfield most of his life. From 1970 until 1974, he served in the US Marine Corps, attaining the rank of Corporal. Ron worked for Pike Industries for many years mostly at the Rock Crushing Plant in Hooksett. He was also employed at Walmart in Tilton for several years until his recent illness. He enjoyed gardening, golfing, and ice fishing. Family members include his wife, Virginia (Adamo) Simpson of Northfield, 2 daughters, Michelle Coy of Northfield and Charlotte MacDonald of Bristol, 4 grandchildren, Joshua Snow, Nathan Snow, Tabitha Snow, and Anthony ?Gus? Coy, 2 sisters: Donna Simpson of NC and Jan Simpson of Newburyport, MA and Florida, 3 brothers: Lester Simpson of Meredith, Robert Simpson of Northfield, and Richard Simpson of Ballston Spa, NY, and nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, January 28, 2011 at 11:00 am in St. Mary of The Assumption Church, Chestnut St., Tilton. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ron may be made to Franklin VNA Hospice, 75 Chestnut St., Franklin, NH 03235. Paquette-Neun Funeral Home, Northfield, is assisting with arrangements.
