Roland was born in Claremont, NH on July 5, 1952 the son of Roland E. Duval and Frances (Blodgett) Duval. He was raised in Northfield and resided in Tilton since 1994. Mr. Duval served in the US Navy as an Airman in the early seventies. He was previously employed at the Arwood Corp. and NH Ball Bearing for fifteen years. Roland was last employed by the Tilton School. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially when hunting. He also loved following NASCAR racing. Roland was a member of Franklin VFW Post #1698 and the Whiteman-Davidson American Legion Post # 49. Family members include his wife, Juanita (Douglas) Duval of Tilton, his parents, Roland and Frances Duval of Manning, SC, three children, Joseph McCall of NYC, Eric McCall of Derry, and Jessica McCall of Concord, a grandson, Trenton Eldridge, and two brothers, Brian Duval of Charleston, SC and Kenneth Duval of Laconia, and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Dennis J. Duval who died in 1998. A funeral service will be held at NH Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, on Monday, June 2, 2014, at 9:00 am.
