Roger Ano

Northfield, NH?? Roger J. Ano, 73, of Northfield, died at his home on Aug. 27, 2010. He was born in Au Sable Forks, NY on Nov. 12, 1936 the son of Claude and Viola (Stanley) Ano. He was raised in NY State and resided in Franklin before moving to Northfield 16 years ago. Roger served in the US Army during the Korean War. Several years ago, he worked at Seth Thomas Clocks in Boscawen and worked at Elektrisola in Boscawen until his retirement. Roger loved the outdoors, spending time with his family. He greatly enjoyed his grandchildren, campfires and boating. Family members include his wife of 31 years, Joyce (Douglas) Ano of Northfield, 3 children: Roger J. Ano, Jr. and his wife Sherry, of Belmont, Tina M. Ano of Northfield, and Tonya Cullen and her husband Zachary Cullen, Sr., of Northfield, 6 grandchildren, 4 sisters: Connie Ano of Plattsburg, NY, Norine Starr of Winchester, VA, Barbara Spooner of Keeseville, NY, and Linda Depo of Winchester, VA, and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a grandson, Zachary Cullen, Jr. who died in 2001, and 2 brothers: Calvin Ano and Francis Ano. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010 at 1:00 pm at NH Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen. Following services, all are invited back to the Ano home at 29 Glines Park Rd., Northfield.
