Robert M. Theriault, 75, of Franklin, died at his home on Jan. 12, 2024 as a result of Agent Orange exposure while serving in the Army in Vietnam.
He was born in Toccoa, GA the son of Robert A. and Betty (Baumgarner) Theriault. He served in the US Amry as from 1969 until 1975. He attained the rank of Seargent.
Robert resided in Franklin for several years. He worked in bridge construction and later as a machinist at Tangent Tools in Laconia. He later was employed for several years at Freudenberg-NOK in Northfield prior to retiring.
During his younger years, he enjoyed riding his Harley.
Family members include his wife, Donna (Plourde) Theriault of Franklin, they shared 4 daughters: Aimee Clifford of Canaan, Erica Hatch of Lebanon, Misty Hayes of Plymouth, and Meagan Morrill, of Laconia who died in 2008, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, a sister, Linda Garfield of Florida, and nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday. Jan. 17th at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin from 4:00-6:00 pm. A graveside service with military honors will be at NH Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
