Thibault-Neun Funeral Home 143 Franklin St., Franklin, NH 03235 934-2408 OBITUARY Mr. Robert E. St. Pierre, 75, of New Harbor, ME, formerly of Franklin, died on Jan. 9, 2012. He was born in Franklin on Dec. 13, 1936 the son of Ernest O. and Gracia (Leger) St. Pierre. Bob attended St. Mary School and graduated from Franklin High School, Class of 1955. He also attended Bowdoin College in Brunswick, ME. Following college, he enlisted in the US Army where he served for 10 years. While in Franklin, he worked at Neil's Restaurant. Bob was a quiet man with many talents. He had a passion for photography, cooking, and restoring furniture. Bob enjoyed painting pictures from memories of recent local travels. He publicly displayed much of his artwork and photographs at exhibits in the area. He was a communicant of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church in New Castle, ME. Family members include his wife, Joyce (Johnson) St. Pierre, whom he married on his 50th birthday, 2 stepdaughters: Jennifer Mitchell of Sunnyvale, CA and Faith Levesque of Nottingham, NH, 2 brothers: Frank J. St. Pierre of Lincoln, RI, and Leo St. Pierre of Franklin, 3 sisters: Pauline I. Beaupre of Biloxi, MI, RoseMarie Chandonnet of Franklin, and Alma T. Andrews of Boscawen, and nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012 at 10 am in St. Paul Church, School St., Franklin with spring burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. There are no visiting hours.
