Suncook, NH  -   Mr. Robert H. Morasse, Jr., 78, of Suncook, passed away at Granite VNA Hospice House in Concord, NH on June 3, 2022. He is survived by his wife, Franceen M. Morasse and his beloved pets after many years of poor health complicated by a short fight with stomach cancer.  Born in Methuen, MA, he was a son of the late Robert H. Morasse Sr. and Jean C. (Goodwin) Morasse and a step-son to Yolanda Morasse, all of whom predeceased him. He was raised by his aunt, Madolyn Allen, because his mother died in a tragic fire in 1953. He was raised and educated in Manchester, NH and moved to Suncook in 1980 after his marriage.

Prior to his retirement due to disability he was employed by the State of New Hampshire, Office of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention, Tirrell House.  He loved to cook and was fortunate to have been able to attend Johnson and Wales during his tenure. Many would recall the food he prepared for Open House. He was also a long-time friend of Bill W.

He was a faithful member of Holy Rosary Parish, Hooksett and enjoyed commiserating with his friends who attended the morning Mass.   He also enjoyed traveling to Canada and particularly to New Brunswick, where he made friends easily.

He is survived by his wife, Franceen M. Morasse of Suncook and his brother-in-law, Michael R. Masse of Franklin, NH.  He is also survived by sisters Tammy and husband Ronald Fleury, Northfield, Ann Stetson of Florida, brother Joseph and Louise Morasse, Methuen, MA, William Morasse, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Visitation will take place before the funeral liturgy at Holy Rosary Parish, 21 Main Street, Hooksett, NH  on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 from 9:30 until 11:30.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30.  Burial will follow in the adjacent Holy Rosary Cemetery. Mourners are asked to partake of a bereavement luncheon in the parish hall downstairs after the service.
