Robert A. Lanzillo (aka Lanny), 83, of Franklin NH, died peacefully at his home surrounded by his loved ones on August.17, 2021.
He was born in Boston on December 9, 1937; the son of Anthony and Jennie (Leonowicz) Lanzillo.
He was the Loving father of Gina Lanzillo, Thomas Lanzillo, Audrey Lanzillo all of Franklin NH, Jennifer Lanzillo and her fiancé Sean Mullen of North Reading Ma. The proud papa of Peter Lanzillo, Andrea Lanzillo, Jacqueline Mullen, Christopher Mullen, and Henry Mullen.
He is also survived by his siblings, Lorraine Lopilato, Anna Stoddard, Tony Lanzillo and his wife Denise, all of Woburn, MA, Eddie Lanzillo of Walpole, MA and Joseph Lanzillo and his wife Paulette of Somersworth NH as well as many nieces and nephews.
Robert grew up in the West End of Boston, MA, attended English High School in Boston and later owned and operated several restaurants throughout his life. He was widely known as Pizza Bob for making the best pizza in New England. He retired to Franklin New Hampshire where he enjoyed the rest of days relaxing under a tree reading, doing crossword puzzles, playing solitaire and spending time with his family.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin, NH. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm in Franklin Cemetery.
