Robert Hunt

Franklin, NH Mr. Robert A. Hunt, 85, of Franklin, died at his home on June 8, 2013. He was born in Laconia on Aug. 25, 1927 the son of Stanton and Florence (McCrea) Hunt. Bob was raised in Laconia and resided in Franklin since his marriage to Theresa (Croteau) Hunt in 1953. He served in the US Army for several years until 1952 and attained the rank of Corporal. Prior to retiring, Bob was employed for many years as a plumber with JH Valliere Plumbing in Laconia. He was a communicant of St. Paul Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Franklin VFW Post 1698, and the Whiteman-Davidson American Legion Post #49. Family members include his wife of 60 years, Theresa (Croteau) Hunt of Franklin, four children: James Hunt of Salisbury, Cindy Hunt and her husband Steve Lemire of Gilmanton, Steve Hunt of Franklin, and Diane Cross and her husband Robert of Hill, 2 grandsons, Eric Cross and Kyle Cross, his brother, Russell Hunt of Newton, MA, 2 sisters: Barbara LaFlamme of Franklin and Marjorie Robbins of Bradenton, FL, and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 14th at 9:00 am at the NH Veterans Cemetery Chapel, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mr. Hunt may be made to a charity of one's choice.
