Robert Horace

OBITUARY Robert Joseph Horace, 96, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2012. He was born on April 29, 1915 the son of the late Robert A. Horace and Julia Walsh Horace. He was married to the late Ellen Marran Horace who predeceased him in 1987. Mr. Horace served in the US Navy as an electrician's mate during World War II and upon returning home to Manchester, he worked at Horace Appliance, a business started by his father. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Linda Horace of Moultonborough, NH and his daughter and son-in-law Sheila and Dennis Pratt of Greenland, NH. He has one grandchild, Denny Pratt. Mr. Horace also has several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife and three sisters. A service will be held at the NH Veterans Cemetery Chapel in Boscawen on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012 at 1:30 pm.
