Robert Duffy

Robert J. Duffy, 66, of Franklin, NH, passed away at home on Saturday, May 29, following a brief illness. Mr. Duffy, who was co-owner of Franklin Plumbing & Heating, LLC., has long been a fixture in the local community. He proudly raised his children in Franklin, was an enthusiastic member of local poetry societies and had been a regular participant in basketball games in Franklin and surrounding areas. His book of poetry, Ordinary Lies, was published in 2003 to great praise. He enjoyed travel, playing with his grandkids, cooking and battling knotweed in his garden. Mr. Duffy is survived by his wife Patricia, his children Jocelyn, Rebecca, Cathleen and Michael, his grandchildren, Simon, Nicholas and Benjamin, his sisters Margaret, Patricia and Kathleen and by more loving family members than can be listed here. A family remembrance was held at his home.
