Robert Cross, Sr

Mr. Robert C. Cross, Sr., 77, o Franklin, died at his home on Aug. 12, 2016. He was born in Franklin on May 11, 1939 the son of Everett and Alice (Antil) Cross. Bob served in the US Air Force for 20 years attained the rank of Staff Sgt. While in the service, he and his family resided in Germany, Texas, and California, returning to Franklin in 1976. He worked at Insulfab Plastics in Franklin for several years prior to retiring. Bob loved to travel. His wife, Ingrid (Hau) Cross, died in 2013. Family members include his children: Roberta Smith and husband Doug of Bristol, Rita Southwick and husband Sidney of Ave, NY, Robert C. Cross, Jr. and wife Heidi of Albuquerque, NM, and Patricia Woods of Franklin, 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, a brother, Richard Cross of Franklin, a sister, Nancy Dion of Allenstown, and nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2016 from 10am - 12 noon at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 at NH Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen. Donations in memory of Bob may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2 Commerce Dr., #110, Bedford, NH 03110.
