Robert Caverly

Sanbornton, NH? Mr. Robert D. Caverly, 88, of Sanbornton and Dade City, Florida, died on Oct. 13, 2010 in Tampa, Fl. He was born in Northfield, NH on July 12, 1922 the son of Marden and Edias (Knapp) Caverly. During World War II, he served in the Pacific with the US Navy. He was stationed in New Guinea and the Philippines. Mr. Caverly was employed for many years at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard as a welder and later as a shipfitting inspector. His wife, Barbara (Gray) Caverly, died in 1991. He is survived by a cousin. Graveside services will be held Thursday, Oct. 21st at 11:00 am at Blair Cemetery, Campton, NH. Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, Franklin, NH is assisting with arrangements.
