Robert Bradley, Sr

Robert J. Bradley, Sr., 88, of Franklin, died at Lakes Region General Hospital on Oct. 29, 2015. He was born in Concord on July 2, 1927 the son of John Henry Bradley and Mable (Belanger) Bradley. Bob served in the US Army and Army Air Corps during World War II as an MP. Several years ago, he worked at Hebert Foundry in Franklin and Laconia, and Gray Foundry in Poultney, VT. Bob later worked at the former Colburn and Camp Chrysler Plymouth in Tilton and at Elektrisola in Penacook. Bob was last employed as head custodian at Winnisquam Regional High School prior to retiring. He was a member and past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus in Franklin and also is a Fourth Degree Knight. He was a communicant of St. Paul Church. Bob was a member of Franklin VFW Post 1698 and Whiteman-Davidson American Legion Post 49. He enjoyed woodworking, camping and playing cards. Bob especially enjoyed spending time and singing Karaoke with his family. Family members include his wife of 66 years, Patricia (Quebec) Bradley of Franklin, his children: Robert J. Bradley, Jr. and his fiancé Elizabeth Shelley of Hill, Karen Marie Fick and husband Neldon of Ellsworth, KS, Sharon Lee Speikers and husband Jim of Mtn. Lake, MN, Erin Lynne Hubbard and husband Ed of Concord, and Carolyn Jean Miller and husband Michael of Franklin, 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, a brother, Raymond Bradley of ID, 2 sisters, Arlene Sensor of Bernardston, MA and Beatrice Cheney of St. Albans, VT, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, and two brothers: Fred E. Bradley and Arthur L. Bradley. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015 at 3:00 at the NH Veterans Cemetery Chapel, Boscawen, NH. Donations in memory of Bob may be made to The NH Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH 03303 or to a charity of one's choice.
