Biography Richard Lee Shipley, 56, of Franklin, NH passed away on November 23, 2016. He was born September 25, 1960 in Baltimore, MD. He was predeceased by his mother Cecelia Mae Shipley. Rick was the most outgoing man who loved people and made friends everywhere he went. He had both a smile and a loud, unmistakable voice that would light up the room. He was the kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, and classic rock music. You could always find Shipley in front of the TV yelling at his favorite sports teams. There was nothing more important to Rick then his family, always trying to be the best father and grandfather he could be. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Richard earned his associates degree from New Hampshire Community College. He worked at the NH State School in Laconia, then Spaulding Youth Center prior to becoming disabled. He is survived by his children, Christopher Shipley of Boston, MA, Jennifer Shipley of Fall Rivers, MA, and Heather Winslow of Epsom, NH.
