Richard Alan LeBlanc, age 67, of Franklin, NH passed away unexpectedly on June 16, 2025, at Concord Hospital in Franklin.
Richard was born in Derry, NH to Armand and Imelda LeBlanc. He graduated from Pinkerton Academy in 1978 and later attended College and completed training at the police academy to become a corrections officer for the State of Florida.
Richard spent his career as a Business Owner and Corrections Officer, where he was known for his hard work ethic and dedication. Outside of work, he loved sports, especially baseball. Despite the Red Sox breaking his heart all the years, he witnessed the most magical year in 2004. He also got to see New England become the championship capital of the nation. He loved muscle cars, car shows and racing. His ‘23 Roadster may be his most prized car; he even has awards to prove it. He loved his Classic Rock and Country music and while some say Bluetooth is great, Richard certainly wouldn’t. Above all else, he loved his family and all the memories we built together. He became a father of five and made so many sacrifices over the years and made sure to always provide for his children. He led by example and was our foundation. We are blessed that he had the opportunity to witness all his children becoming successful in this game we call life.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Melanie LeBlanc and their five children. Chris Samson, his wife Blair Gomez and their two children Natalie and Anthony, Heather Ebert and her husband Brent Ebert, Jonathan LeBlanc, his wife Bailey LeBlanc, and their three children Quinton, Lainey, and Rae, Brianna LeBlanc, her husband Rob Holt, and their three children Adilene, Rosalina, and Bailey, Nicholas LeBlanc, and his wife Tiffany LeBlanc.
He is also survived by his brother Ronald LeBlanc and his wife Brooke, brother Randy LeBlanc and his wife Deborah, brother Robert LeBlanc and his wife Libby, sister Susan Barnard and her husband Eric, sister Karen Hickey and her husband Mike, sister Annette Hoover and her partner Scott as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Armand LeBlanc, his mother, Imelda LeBlanc, and his brother, Raymond LeBlanc.
A funeral service will be held at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home in Franklin, NH on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM followed by a celebration of life at the family’s home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, in Richard’s memory.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
