Raymond Pratt

Tilton Raymond O. Pratt passed away on June 17th, 2013 at the New Hampshire Veterans Home in Tilton, NH. He was born on October 28th, 1924 in West Swanzey, NH to the late George and Nellie (Goodnow) Pratt. Raymond was an Army Veteran serving in World War II. When he returned from serving in the European Theater, he married the late Anna Gilson where they resided in Brattleboro, VT for many years and raised four sons. Ray was an avid gardener and loved nature, the outdoors and spending time at the family cabin in Vermont. He also loved to relax with a good book. He is survived by two sons, Scott Pratt and his wife Laure of Bow, NH and Garry Pratt of Pasadena, CA. Ray is also survived by his sister Flossie Cooke of Roxbury, NH, Robert Pratt of Marlboro, NH along with 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, as well as his loving daughter in laws Barbara Pratt of Keene, NH and Laura Tidgren of Florida. Raymond was predeceased by two sons Allan and Timothy Pratt. A memorial service will be held at the North Hinsdale Community Church at 105 Meetinghouse Rd. Hinsdale, NH on Saturday July 13, 2013 at 11AM followed by an Urn Burial Service at the Oak Lawn Cemetery.
