Paula Mango

February 20, 1961 — August 7, 2015

Paula L. Mango, 54, passed away on Friday, Aug. 7, 2015, with her family at her side, due to complications of breast cancer. Paula was born in Franklin, NH and graduated from Franklin High School in 1979. She was the youngest daughter of Aime' J. Lemire and Rosalie Lemire. Paula grew up in and around her family's business, and she remembered the shop as a place where family and friends came to hang out and visit. She learned to work alongside her parents and sisters at an early age, and her memories of that time were happy ones. Paula married Bryan Mango in 1980, and together they raised two wonderful daughters. She was employed at Lincoln Financial in Concord for 33 years, retiring as a Compliance Officer due to her health. She spent many hours volunteering with Girl Scouts, Bread and Roses Kitchen, St. Paul Church, and Easter Seals, NH. Paula spent the last five years of her life living every moment to the fullest by travelling, going to Fenway to watch her beloved Red Sox, and cherishing quality time with her family and friends whom she loved dearly. She leaves her husband of 34 years, Bryan Mango, of Northfield; her daughters Taylor Therrien and husband Matthew of Sutton; and Kelly Mango of Concord; granddaughter Elaina Therrien; her mother Rosalie (Lemire) Fleury of Gainesville, FL; her brother Jesse Lemire of California; sisters Edwina Barton and Donna Hewitt, both of North Carolina. She also leaves many nephews and nieces. Visiting hours will be Thursday, Aug. 13, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin, NH. A Mass celebrating Paula's life will be held Friday, Aug. 14, 2015 at 11:00 am in St. Paul Church of St. Gabriel Parish, 108 School St., Franklin. Donations may be made in Paula's memory to Easter Seals, NH, 555 Auburn St., NH Manchester, NH 03103, Bread and Roses Kitchen, c/o Claire Wallace, 135 Terrace Rd., Franklin, NH 03235, or Norris Cotton Cancer Center at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (1 Medical Center Dr Lebanon, NH 03766).
