Franklin, NH? Paul A. Lemire, 79, of Franklin, died at Franklin Regional Hospital on Nov. 3, 2010. He was born in Franklin on Nov. 11, 1930 the son of Nestor and Maria (Lavoie) Lemire. He was a lifelong Franklin resident and graduated from Franklin High School. He also continued his studies at Manchester Technical College. Paul served in the US Air Force from 1951 until 1954 attaining the rank of Staff Sgt. He was employed for many years by Insulfab Plastics in Franklin until retiring as production manager. Mr. Lemire served as Councilman in Franklin and also as Mayor. He was a communicant of St. Paul Church and was a member of the former Knights of Columbus, Fr. AJ Timon Council. Blessed with creativity and artistic talent, along with his love of woodworking, Paul created many wonderful gifts for family and friends that have been and will continue to be enjoyed for many years. His wife, Thelma ""Tillie"" Lemire, died last November. Family members include his 3 children: Keith P. Lemire of East Sandwich, MA, Rhonda M. Lemire of Franklin, and Craig J. Lemire of Gilford, 3 grandchildren: Steven Lemire and Nicole Marie Lemire, both of Gilford, and Alicia Lemire of Tilton, a brother, Clement Lemire of Manchester, 2 sisters: Theresa Denonocour of Franklin and Jeannette Marcucci of N. Eastham, MA, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son: Brian Lemire, 3 brothers: Benoit, Armand, and Henry Lemire, and 3 sisters: Germaine Carignan, Esther Lemire, and Juliette Lemire. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, Nov. 9th from 6-8:00 pm at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, Nov. 10th at 10 am in St. Paul Church. Interment will follow at NH Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen. Donations in memory of Paul may be made to St. Paul Church, PO Box 490, Franklin, or Franklin VNA, 75 Chestnut St., Franklin, NH 03235.
