Exeter-Paul J Stinson, Jr. 85, formerly of Tilton, New Hampshire, died peacefully at Sea View Retreat in Rowley, Ma on December 20, 2015. He is pre-deceased by his wife of 55 years, Dolores (Virgin) R. Stinson. Paul was born in Etna on July 18, 1930, son of Paul and Mary Stinson. He was raised in Tilton and was a graduate of Tilton High School. He served proudly in the United States Navy aboard the destroyer U.S.S. Fiske from 1949-1956. He worked for many years for Arwood Precision Castings as Assistant Chief Engineer before being promoted to Sales Manager. He was a member of the Whitman-Davidson American Legion Post 49 for more than 50 years. He was an active member of the Elks at the Dayton Ohio Lodge 58. Paul was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, who will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Family members include; his daughter Pamela Gagnon and her husband Robert of Danvers, MA, his daughters Brenda Stinson of Hampton, NH, and Lisa Stinson Scudieri of Dover, NH. His was proud Grandfather of Rob Gagnon, Heather Carter and her husband Mark, Kim Polark and her husband Brian, Danielle Grant and her husband Justin, Great Grandfather of Faith Carter, Cole Carter, Collins Christine Polark, and Charlee Mae Gagnon-Johanson Visiting hours will be held Monday, Dec. 28, 2015 from 9:30 - 10:30 am at Paquette-Neun Funeral Home, 104 Park St., Northfield, NH. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 in the funeral home with burial following in Park Cemetery.
