Patricia Mcdonald

Franklin, NH Mrs. Patricia J. McDonald, 80, of Franklin, died at Concord Hospital on Nov. 17, 2011. She was born in Franklin on Aug. 28, 1931 the daughter of J. Charles and Irene (Gauthier) Riel. Pat was a lifelong resident of Franklin and graduated from Franklin High School, Class of 1949. She was employed for over 30 years in the business office of Franklin Regional Hospital. She was a member of the former Court Annie Nesmith of the Catholic Daughters of America. She enjoyed camping, gardening, and baking, and especially her family. Pat was the widow of Robert L. McDonald, Sr. who died in 2007. Family members include her son, Robert L McDonald, Jr. and his wife Karen of Winthrop, MA, 3 daughters: Jane Doucette and her husband Gary of Gilford, Laurie McDonald of Penacook, and Susan Leone and her husband Richard of Lynn, MA, 5 grandchildren: Kelsey McDonald, Melissa Barber, Ryan Leone, Derek Doucette, and Dan Doucette, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Eleanor Gauthier. Visiting hours will be Monday, Nov. 21st from 6-8:00 pm at Thibault- Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, Nov. 22nd at 10 in St. Paul Church will burial following at Holy Cross Cemetery.
