It is with a mix of sadness and celebration that we announce the passing of Norman A. Joyce Sr., who left us peacefully on March 28, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on January 11, 1947, in Franklin, NH.

A proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, Norman embodied service and commitment, values he carried into his work as a machinist at NH Ball Bearings Inc. for many years. His skilled hands shaped metal with precision, a testament to his love for the manufacturing industry and the pride he took in his craftsmanship.

Norman loved to read and enjoyed spending time on his computer.

Norman leaves behind his sons, Norman Joyce Jr. and his wife Juanita and Robert D. Joyce. He also leaves his 3 grandchildren; Travis, David and Logan Joyce, his one great granddaughter; Charlie Jean Joyce, his great grandson; Malakai Joyce and his two sisters; Susan and Carol.

Norman was predeceased by his wife; Barbara Jean (Akerman) Joyce and his parents; Raymond and Hilda (Menard) Joyce.

As we celebrate his life, a graveside service with military honors will be held soon in Riverside Cemetery in Alexandria.
