Michael Anthony Forest, 58, of Wilmington, North Carolina passed away November 21, 2021 at New Hanover Medical Center after a sudden illness.
Michael was born February 14, 1963 in Franklin, NH, the son of Connie and John Forest. He graduated from Bishop Brady High School in Concord, NH.
Mike was a chef and worked most recently at Fork N Cork and Whiskey Trail restaurants in Wilmington.
Mike was an avid reader. He loved all sports from curling to football and was a huge fan of all New England sports teams. Mike always wore a team hat or jersey to work and loved interacting with customers over their love or hate of New England sports teams.
Mike is survived by his mother & sister, Diane of Franklin, NH, his aunt, Thelma Flynn of Haverhill, MA, many cousins and friends including his best friend Cliff Coates, and Cliff's 2 children Joshua and Hayley, and Mike's beloved dog Zoey.
Services will be held at a later date.
