Mary Jo Robichaud (Dion) - Remembered for Warmth, Laughter, and Family
Franklin, NH - Mary Jo Robichaud (Dion), 71, passed away on May 6th after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on November 5, 1952, to George E. Dion and Martha (Cruz) Bryson, Mary Jo grew up in Franklin, NH, and graduated from Franklin High School in 1970.
A lover of travel and adventure, Mary Jo explored the world, cherishing experiences in Canada, Japan, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Mexico, London, and across the USA, making cross-country trips several times.
Mary Jo dedicated 30 years of her career to Tilton School, where she was known for her remarkable ability to connect with alumni. She remembered names, stories, and made everyone feel welcome, creating a true sense of home at the school. Prior to Tilton, she thrived in the banking industry in both New Hampshire and California.
Family was paramount to Mary Jo. She raised and provided for her daughters, Narci, Katie, Abby, and Raven, and cherished her grandchildren, Connor, Taylor, Hazel, Cameron, and Quinn. Her sisters held a special place in her heart, and her close circle of friends were like extended family. Mary Jo's warmth and kindness created a haven for all who knew and loved her, and her memory will forever be carried in their hearts.
For 32 years, Mary Jo shared a love of adventure with her husband, Stephen. Together, they were never happier than when meandering on unplanned journeys, exploring new places by bike or setting up camp under the stars. Whether across continents or down a scenic back road, Mary Jo and Stephen embraced the spirit of exploration, hand-in-hand.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 10th, at 12:30 pm at the Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
