Mary Ann Leifester, 62, of Franklin, died at Lakes Region General Hospital on April 11, 2018.
She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on Jan. 9, 1956 the daughter of Robert and Margaret (Litten) Levine. She was raised in Olanta, PA and lived in Sandown NH before moving to Franklin.
She formerly worked as a Dept. Mgr. at Bradlee's and Kmart and later worked at Bath & Body Works. She was last employed at Walmart in Gilford.
Family members include her husband of 40 years, Leo P. Leifester Sr. of Franklin NH, 2 sons: Leo P. Leifester III and wife Janet Drawdy of Orlando, FL, and Adam R. Leifester of Franklin NH., grandchildren Arianna and Emily Drawdy of Orlando FL, a sister, Cathy Aughenbaugh and her husband Rodger of Curwensville PA, and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Lori Levine.
She loved reading, watching harry potter movies and spending time and hanging out with her granddaughters. Besides her biological children Mary Ann had numerous children she loved as her own.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, April 18 from 5-7:00 pm at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin, NH. Burial will be at a later date.
