Franklin, NH Mark S. Legare, 62, of Franklin, died at his home on July 24, 2013. He was born in Concord on July 10, 1951 the son of Raymond and Delia (Champagne) Legare. Mark was a lifelong Franklin resident and was a 1971 Franklin High School graduate. He was employed as a machinist at Watts Regulator for many years. Mark was an avid Railroad enthusiast. He also was Santa Claus on many Hobo Railroad Christmas Trains. Mark enjoyed collecting bottles and other antiques. He enjoyed the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing. Family members include his wife of 38 years, Nan (Bennett) Legare of Franklin, 2 children: Jenny Braganca of Concord and Peter M. Legare of Belmont, 2 sisters: Adrienne McCrea of Laconia and Dolores "Dolly" Cutting of Franklin, and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Raymond M. Legare who died in 2006. Visiting hours will be held from 4-6:00 pm on Sunday, July 29th at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, July 29th at 10 am in St. Paul Church. Burial will follow in Franklin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mark may be made to The Tilton-Northfield Rotary Club Fishing Derby, PO Box 679,, Tilton, NH 03276.
