Mark Hilliard

Tilton, NH ... Mark "Mickey" F. Hilliard, 68, of Tilton, died at the VA Medical Center in West Roxbury, MA on Dec. 25, 2016. Mickey was born in Franklin on Dec. 12, 1948 the son of Eldon and Anita (Morrill) Hilliard. He lived most of his life in the Tilton area and was a 1966 graduate of Tilton-Northfield High School. He served in the US Army from 1967 until 1970 when transferred to the Reserves. Mickey was a member of the Whiteman-Davidson American Legion Post #49 and was a part of their drill team. Several years ago, he worked at the Arwood Corp. and lastly for Kenneth Partridge Construction in Northfield. Mickey loved the outdoors especially fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed reading and history. Family members include his sisters: Carol Carignan and husband Arthur of Tilton and Coleen Drapeau and husband Ron of Penacook, 3 brothers: Robin Hilliard and wife Susan and Scott Hilliard and wife Jensine, of Northfield, and James Hilliard of Franklin, and several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held Saturday, Dec. 31, 2016 from 2-4 pm at Paquette-Neun Funeral Home, 104 Park St., Northfield. A service will follow at 4:00. Interment will be at a later date at NH Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758515, Topeka, KS 66675.
