Marjorie Sheldon

Boscawen, NH Mrs. Marjorie A. Sheldon, 93, died at Gerrish Manor in Boscawen on April 29, 2016. She was born in Penacook on Aug. 4, 1922 the daughter of Frank and Jessie (Libby) Papineau. Marjorie was raised in Penacook and graduated from Penacook High School in 1940. She was employed at the Concord Group for 25 years as a secretary to the vice president. She was a member of Franklin Regional Hospital Auxiliary where she also volunteered. Margie enjoyed reading, sewing, and spending time at York Beach, ME. Her husband, Robert S. Sheldon died in 1999. Family members include her children, Frederick Shaw and wife Rhonda of Slatyfork, WV, LuAnn Shaw of Tilton, Donovan Sheldon and wife Kathy of Franklin, Stephen Sheldon of VA, 5 grandchildren, Stephen Sheldon, Jr., William Marland IV, Cassandra Marland, Kyle Marland, and Brandon Sheldon, 2 great grandchildren, Marcus and Gabriel Marland, a sister, Phyllis Doyle of Penacook, and nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin, on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 1:30 pm. Interment will follow at NH Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.
